The Heavy-Duty Upright Roll Forming Machine streamlines production with a fully automated workflow, integrating five core stages into a single continuous line to eliminate bottlenecks and reduce labor costs.
The process begins with the heavy-duty decoiler, which feeds raw steel coils steadily into the line. The leveler then flattens the material, removing warping and ensuring uniform thickness. Next, the hydraulic punching station creates holes and notches at 50–60 strokes per minute, preparing the material for assembly. The roll forming section shapes the flat sheet into the desired upright profile, with 24 forming stations delivering precise bends and uniform geometry. Finally, the hydraulic cut-off unit trims the profile to custom lengths, and finished uprights are collected on the 6-meter run-out table.
This fully automated sequence eliminates the need for manual handling between stages, reducing labor requirements and minimizing the risk of human error. The Schneider PLC system coordinates all steps, ensuring smooth transitions and consistent production. The decoiler’s manual brake system provides tension control, while the leveler’s 12 rollers ensure even feeding. The result is a continuous, high-efficiency production line capable of handling large volumes of heavy-duty uprights with minimal operator intervention.
